pool house fantastic surprise dirty marks room windows
The staff provided great service i appreciated that. The lunch at the pool house was very good also. I wish it were nearer to where I live. the welcome greeting from michael caines himself was a fantastic surprise.
The room windows hadn't been cleaned and this did not fill me with confidence. I told reception and gave them an opportunity to fix things, but they did not fix the dirty marks. I think maintenance and housekeeping could improve

really good dining experience!
pretty estate signature menu beef tartare
the estate has beautiful views of the estuary! it made me excited. we celebrated a birthday with the signature tasting menu. i adored the langoustine dish, and the beef tartare was my second favorite.
I wish the hotel offered wine tasting. Maybe next time!

the grounds were lovely, and footpaths were well maintained. the pool area was relaxed, and easy to reach. i felt instantly relaxed once i drove into the hotel grounds, i could see the amazing view.

My room was lovely with a great view from the balcony! it was very clean and cosy. attention to detail was excellent. There was even a pair of binoculars in the room, so i could look at the wildlife.

The hotel was so nice with meticulous attention to detail from arrival. staff ensured my car's safety after a breakdown nearby. They fetched my bags and towed the car to the hotel car park. breakfast and lunch at the pool house were really good and provided a seamless experience. i enjoyed the delivery of espresso, juice, and newspapers prior to breakfast each morning, setting a good tone for the day.
the dining room had a sombre atmosphere and my porridge featured lumps of uncooked oats, a surprising oversight for a michelin-starred hotel.

My room featured a gin tray. it also had superb views. i enjoyed the spacious king room. The terrace offered tranquility. the room was immaculate on arrival, though it could use better soundproofing.

the staff was attentive to my needs . the room was clean and well kept. the hotel offered beautiful views.
i found the lighting in the bedroom to be quite dim. the washbasin was difficult to reach. stains marked the tiled bathroom floors.

a good escape
lovely grounds relaxing pool area interesting vineyard
the grounds were lovely and very well-kept. i spent a lot of time near the pool area, i found it very relaxing. i will definitely consider returning for another relaxing stay. the vineyard tour proved very interesting as well.
i noticed that the milk flasks in the rooms did not keep the milk fresh enough. It turned sour by the morning. this occurred because there were no fridges available in the rooms.

Breakfast provided a lovely choice of skilfully prepared dishes. It was a very pleasant experience. i had the opportunity to experience the fine dining restaurant. The food was lovely, though the atmosphere felt somewhat sombre.
